Dinosaur Jr in Austin
Dinosaur Jr remains closely associated with the collision of melody and volume that helped shape American alternative rock.
J Mascis’ guitar work is still the center of the band’s live sound, supported by Lou Barlow and Murph in the classic lineup.
A Band That Still Plays Loud
Dinosaur Jr concerts are known for volume, distortion and long guitar passages that stretch well beyond the studio versions.
That makes the outdoor Stubb’s setting especially fitting for the band’s sound.
Stubb’s with Stef Chura
Stef Chura joins the Austin date, adding a newer indie-rock voice to a bill headlined by one of the genre’s foundational bands.
The show is scheduled for November 5, 2026.
