Living Colour comes to Austin on March 25, 2027 as special guest for The Psychedelic Furs at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. The pairing brings together two bands that challenged rock conventions in very different ways during the 1980s and beyond.
Living Colour in Austin
Living Colour’s music combines hard rock, funk, metal, punk and socially conscious songwriting, making the band difficult to reduce to a single genre.
That mix still gives the group a distinctive place on modern rock bills.
On Tour with The Psychedelic Furs
The 2027 Austin date pairs Living Colour with The Psychedelic Furs, creating a bill that connects alternative, post-punk and heavier guitar music.
The show is scheduled at ACL Live at The Moody Theater on March 25.
A Band That Never Fit One Category
From Cult of Personality onward, Living Colour has always moved between scenes rather than staying inside one narrow rock lane.
That genre-crossing identity is a big part of why the band remains relevant decades after its breakthrough.
