The Smashing Pumpkins: The Rats In A Cage Tour
The Smashing Pumpkins bring The Rats In A Cage Tour to Moody Center in Austin on October 25, 2026. The tour arrives during a period when the band is also marking the 35th anniversary of Gish, connecting the earliest chapter of the Pumpkins with the much broader catalog they have built since the early 1990s.
The Smashing Pumpkins at Moody Center
The Austin concert is scheduled for 8:00 PM at Moody Center.
The band’s current live show still moves between heavy guitar tracks, psychedelic textures and quieter melodic material, reflecting the range that has always separated the Pumpkins from more straightforward alternative-rock acts.
The Rats In A Cage Tour
The tour is built as a career-spanning show rather than a strict album-anniversary set.
For longtime fans, that means the set can reach from the band’s early records through later eras while still leaving room for more recent material.
Gish at 35 and the Austin Show
The 35th anniversary of Gish gives the 2026 tour an extra layer of context, even though the Austin show is not billed as a full-album performance.
