Gibbons is one of Texas rock’s most recognizable guitarists, with a sound built around blues riffs, heavy tone and a style that became inseparable from ZZ Top.
Seeing him at Antone’s offers a much more intimate setting than the arenas and amphitheaters associated with his main band.
The Jungle Show at Antone’s
The Jungle Show brings together several Texas-connected musicians, creating a loose, collaborative format rather than a standard solo-headline set.
The combination of Gibbons, Vaughan, Flanigin and Layton gives the Austin dates a strong local blues identity.
A Texas Guitar Legend in a Historic Room
Antone’s has deep ties to Austin blues, making it a particularly fitting venue for Gibbons.
The December shows connect two major pieces of Texas music history: one of the state’s best-known guitarists and one of Austin’s most important blues clubs.
