The Jungle Show w/ Gibbons, Vaughan, Flanigin & Layton
The Jungle Show returns to Antone's Nightclub in Austin on December 27, 2026, bringing Billy F Gibbons, Jimmie Vaughan, Mike Flanigin and Chris Layton together for the first of two year-end performances. The lineup connects several generations of Texas blues and rock history in one of Austin's most important blues rooms, making this much more than a conventional solo-headliner concert.
The Jungle Show at Antone's
The December 27 show is scheduled for 8:00 PM at Antone's Nightclub. With Gibbons and Vaughan sharing the stage alongside keyboardist Mike Flanigin and drummer Chris Layton, the night is rooted firmly in Texas guitar music.
Antone's gives the collaboration a setting closely tied to Austin blues history rather than the larger venues usually associated with some of these musicians.
Gibbons, Vaughan, Flanigin and Layton
Billy F Gibbons brings the unmistakable guitar tone associated with ZZ Top, while Jimmie Vaughan adds a very different Texas blues vocabulary shaped by decades of work in Austin and beyond.
Mike Flanigin and Chris Layton complete a lineup built around seasoned players rather than a fixed touring-band format, giving The Jungle Show its loose, collaborative character.
First of Two Austin Nights
This is the first of two consecutive Jungle Show performances at Antone's, with a second date scheduled for December 28.
Fans choosing between the two nights can expect the same core lineup, though collaborative shows like this can leave room for changes in pacing, song selection and onstage interaction.
