Jimmie Vaughan remains one of the musicians most closely connected to Austin’s blues identity, and his late-December appearances at Antone’s bring that history back into one of the city’s defining rooms. Vaughan is scheduled to join Billy F Gibbons, Mike Flanigin and Chris Layton for The Jungle Show on December 27 and 28, 2026.

Vaughan’s career stretches from The Fabulous Thunderbirds to decades of solo work rooted in Texas blues, R&B and early rock and roll.
His Austin appearances carry extra weight because this is the city where much of that musical story developed.
The Jungle Show at Antone’s
The two-night Jungle Show run is less like a conventional solo tour date and more like a special collaboration between veteran Texas musicians.
Antone’s is an especially natural setting for the project, given its deep connection to Austin blues history.
A Cornerstone of Texas Blues
Vaughan’s playing is defined more by feel, phrasing and restraint than by flash, a style that has influenced generations of blues guitarists.
Seeing him in a small Austin room offers a very different experience from a festival or arena appearance.
